About My Firm

As a profession, CPAs are analytical and objective and are considered trusted advisors to both individuals and businesses. We are sometimes considered general practitioners and are able to immediately focus the discussion to what you need and want and the best way to fulfill those requests.

I began my career in accounting in 1986 and have continued to be involved in expanding my knowledge in tax and accounting. I focus resources on keeping abreast on emerging issues in the field so you don’t have to. I am a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of California and have maintained memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and am past President of the Sacramento Chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants. Membership in these organizations publicly demonstrates my commitment to quality work and services.

Accountant-client rapport is a cornerstone of my firm and it will sustain in the years ahead. Understanding data is a large part of my work but it is the human factors behind the financial data that formulate decisions and directions.

On a Personal Note

Let me introduce myself on a personal note. I love living and working in Cameron Park. I moved here in 1979 and have called it home ever since. My hobby is photography and you may see my pictures displayed in town or at the fair competitions. Click here to see some of my photos. My pet peeve is coupon clipping (just give me the right price) and I collect miniature ducks (under 3” tall) because even a CPA needs to keep their ducks in a row. Most of all, my friends and family mean the world to me.

What is an Engagement Letter?

Once it has been decided upon what services you will need I will make an engagement letter that states the services to be rendered and the rates that will be applied. This letter is a full disclosure for complete and open communication. Engagement letters are used for almost every service except hourly consultations.

Conclusion

Going through life or business cycles without the consultation of a CPA is like building a house with out a contractor.
